Site Specific Projects

ECHO

A commission from SPID Theatre Company to collaborate and create a site specific light and lantern installation to work in conjunction with sound.

Voices of local residents close to Meanwhile Gardens W10 had their voices recorded, giving their opinion of the story and interplay between the characters Echo and Narcissus from Greek mythology.

Nine interactive sound and light points were placed around the park for the public to activate by pouring water into, sittng next to, moving past or pulling a cord. A clue and letter was available at each station spelling 'Narcissus' once you got to the end!

Large scale video projections of the faces of visitors were projected onto the residential tower block overlooking the site by SDNA tv.
