Our project is involved with communicating information (to children in the developing word) about communicable diseases, social issues and educational content. When we first approached Joanna with our rudimentary pencil sketch storyboard, we were more than amazed and overjoyed at the detailed illustrations that we got back from her.
She produced a set of illustrations that narrates a story based on a local African village in order to teach children about the dangers of Malaria . Her style was vivid, engaging, stunningly detailed and captured exactly the sentiment, tone and message we were trying to get across. She has the ability to project an idea way beyond its initial conception and for that we are truly grateful to her.

Joanna has started to work with Slough Borough Council giving opportunities for survivors of stroke and their carers to experience water colour painting. The first session was very good and those that attended certainly honed a few skills, me included. Joanna also supported our Disability Awareness Day by again offering water colour painting for anyone attending. Hopefully, the start of a long and rewarding partnership.

just looked through this for the first time in fit of 2am insomnia. Oh Joanna, your work is BEAUTIFUL. SERIOUSLY. if i owned a house or anything with a wall, i'd fallon my knees and beg you to paint it,or something. And i don'tr want to be trite, but it's the kind of inspirational that makes me want to smile and look at the sky a lot, which for anybody reading this in the cold light of day is a` Very Good Thing...

I felt compelled to write again; the site looks GREAT! You've produced so many wonderful different styles of work! You're so talented and clever!!!
Well done, you really should be proud of yourself!
Your art is so beautiful, and inspiring, it makes me want to make things, which is a lovely feeling, and one that I don't feel often enough! Thank you. In fact, this very day I am going to order that EL wire I mentioned to you for those cello strings....!

Jonna,
Many thanks for all the hard work you have put in to teaching the adults in our community class. You are a very talented lady and this has been reflected in the work presented by the students throughout the year. A very high standard of painting and drawing has been reached by all levels of students, even those students who thought they had no creative abilities to any degree. We will certainly miss your smiling face and gentle patient approach and wish you every success for the future.
